Monon Trail Elementary Hosts January Board Meeting

January 16, 2010 Randy Miller, Principal of Monon Trail Elementary School welcomed the Officers, Directors and guests of the Monon Railroad Historical-Technical Society, Inc. All present were given a tour of the new school and provided with a very nice luncheon in the school lunchroom. Randy and staff were perfect hosts, except, we were not allowed time for dodge ball and Mr. Miller said the weather was not warm enough for us to go outside for recess. But, we managed to have a good time.

More photos will be added when, and if, they arrive.

Left: Carpet runner inside the hallway near the office. (No, it was not rolled up and taken for WHQ.) Right: Mural on the wall inside the gym.

Left: Kepshire and friend. Right: Nope, not a remake of Hoosiers. Officers, Board and guests pose at center court for a picture. Then we chose up sides and played hoop, with the first team to make a basket won. Because Lowell Susdorf had already left the meeting, we played minus a ref. The contest ended in a 0-0 tie.

Photographic evidence that Black Ops was there. (He was also patted down and his vehicle searched after the meeting.) Shot of outside the school, which Kevin Heggi described as "dripping atmosphere, considering it was a new building.
