MP 126.5 1st Subdivision -
The location was also known as Taylor Station. It is generally considered logical that it was named after a local family. Taylors originally appeared on time tables in 1866, and by 1881 the "s" had been dropped. Taylor remained on the time tables until the end. It was not shown as a open telegraph office. The 1915 inventory lists a boxcar depot with flagging house and flagging board.
