This was likely the last passenger schedule bearing the old "Monon Route" herald and colors and the last before the inauguaration of the new "streamlined" bebuilt-hospital-car trains. Note that the name "Thoroughbred" has yet to appear. During the spring and summer of 1947, passenger trains were powered with the new red-white-gray F3's but still consisted of the old pullman-green rolling stock.
